Teacher training weekend I (part II of class)

My mind raced, got cluttered, I held fellow students in Warrior 1 long enough for them to break out in a sweat and I told myself I failed.  The thing is, this was my first time out of the gate teaching anyone.  This was my starting point: the point at which I could identify the areas that need work and point in the direction I’ll be taking myself.  This morning, like in a great yoga class, the right message came along at the perfect time.  This presented itself to me via beliefnet email and I’d like to share it with you:

“Do not wait for leaders. Do it alone, person to person.” —Mother Teresa

“You don’t have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great.” —Les Brown

“If you wish to reach the highest, begin at the lowest.” —Publilius Syrus

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” —Theodore Roosevelt
