Immortality discovered

We just lost one of our own but she lives on.  A beautiful woman who touched many lives that I was made aware of via the Yoga for Africa project.  I cannot say that I personally knew Susan Caruso.  She looks very familiar in her photos – healthy, beaming with life energy like many of the women at yoga studios around the country, but on May 8th at the age of 51 in her sleep she unexpectedly took her last breath.  She found her grace through yoga and like a chain reaction, she celebrated her own experience by sharing it with others throughout the world and with women in isolation, volunteering at the York Women’s Correctional institute once a week.

She lived yoga.  It is through her interactions with family and friends and yes, yoga that she becomes immortal.  Her impact was made in the hearts and minds of people that will carry her words and bright spirit far beyond her too short life.

R.I.P. Susan.
